I got attention to Laura Branigan through GTA Vice city background songs (self-control) when I was a kid I used to play this game from time to time but never gave much attention to this awesome song but now after more than 14 years later when I listen I felt good not only this song also glory and power of love cover song... her voice was amazing, and her smile real cute no lies in that smile... one of the prettiest girl in 80s.... its amazing how she take care her husband and sacrifice her music career to him... watching this in 2024 and all i can say is.....Laura Branigan deserved a better label. Her voice is electric and has a slight raspy lilt. And i also think the image department let her down too. This is one of the rare times where she looked beautiful on stage AND sounded good live too. I read somewhere she had stage fright and could sometimes hear it....her label should've gotten her vocal lessons too cause she had a strong foundation! She's also and underrated vocalist from the 80s too. Most of her hits just scream the decade they were from. She was a class act that deserved more.
